American Fingerprinting Livescan will digitally transmit your fingerprints to the Department of Justice within second to comply with licensing requirements for a broad array of employment categories: Teachers, Registered Nurses, CNA, Attorneys, Pharmacists, Security Guards, Realtors, Doctors....The list goes on. The California Department of Justice will forward your prints to the FBI for further processing if that is required for licenser. Of course we imply state-of-the-art equipment and strive to make your visit as convenient as possible. The "rolling" process takes only a matter of minutes and is completely ink free. You will need to bring a valid photo ID and a Live Scan Form, which can be found here: http://ag.ca.gov/fingerprints/ if your potential employer has not provided you with one.

What do I need to bring with me?

How long does it take to get the results back from DOJ / FBI?
  The results vary if you have a mail code it would take minimum an hour and maximum 30 days.
  If you don’t have a mail code it takes couple of days until DOJ mails the result to your address.

Why should I take the fingerprint if I already have been fingerprinted before?
  DOJ does not permit sharing of criminal history.
  Each job / license requires different level of service i.e. DOJ, FBI, CHILD ABUSE, FIREARM.
